Watershed groups play a pivotal role in collaborative watershed management by convening key stakeholder groups, coordinating comprehensive planning, and building partnerships to implement priority conservation and restoration projects. As with any organization, the success of these watershed groups is dependent on effective leadership.
The Ohio Watershed Network will be profiling the leaders of watershed groups around the state who have demonstrated success in collaborative watershed management. Our hope is that these stories will help inspire and inform other watershed leaders in Ohio and beyond as they work to find collaborative solutions to our most challenging water resource management issues.
