Approximately 50 watershed coordinators, agency professionals, and watershed group partners attended the workshop, which featured educational sessions as well as the opportunity to meet with peers. This 2-day workshop was coordinated by the Extension Educators in Watershed Management and sponsored by Ohio State University Extension, the Ohio Department of Natural Resources-Division of Soil and Water Conservation, and the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency. During the first day, participants took part in a watershed coordinators meeting or a geology walk on Fossil Creek and educational sessions on credible data and volunteerism. Participants could also choose to enhance their leadership and teamwork skills by taking part in the High Ropes Challenge. After a full day of activities there was a presentation by Dr. Tom Watters on Ohio's mussels. On the second day, participants had their choice of a canoe trip down the Little Miami, or tour of Fort Ancient.
