Ohio Watershed Academy 2011 - registration is closed

The Ohio Watershed Academy (OWA) is a professional development course offered by Ohio State University Extension. The purpose of OWA is to build the capacity of current and future watershed group leaders in Ohio to facilitate the development and implementation of community-based watershed action plans. Graduates of the Academy include paid watershed coordinators and other water resource professionals, watershed group volunteers, county health department and planning agency staff, and university students and faculty.

  • Increase your knowledge and skills in watershed management
  • Credit hours available through the School of Environment and Natural Resources (SENR)
  • Course can be completed entirely online with optional in-person workshops
  • Course runs from March 28, 2011 - May 31, 2011
  • Cost: $125 for enrollment + $50 maximum cost for books (depends on course modules selected)
