This partnership is an all-volunteerconsortium of farmers, landowners, businesses, government agencies, and natural resource professionals. It was established in 1996 largely in response to water quality problems that impacted the integrity of the Big Walnut as a drinking water resource for the City of Columbus.Thegoalof the partnership is to improve the water qualityof the Upper Big Walnut Creek and tributaries througheffective conservation practices while sustaining profitable agriculture within the watershed. The group meets the firstThursday of each month (except in May and October) at 9:00a.m. at the Delaware Soil& Water Conservation District which is located at 557-A Sunbury Rd. in Delaware.
