Mission: Little Miami Incorporated (LMI) is a citizen nonprofit organization founded in 1967 and dedicated to conserving the natural splendor of the Little Miami National & State Scenic River.

LMI currently protects over 50 nature preserves along the Little Miami and its tributaries, working with riverfront landowners, developers, local officials and others to preserve critical riparian lands for wildlife habitat, quiet public enjoyment, and as a source of clean drinking water.

Water quality impairments in the Little Miami Watershed include nutrient loading and stormwater runoff (quality and quantity). Volunteer opportunities include tree plantings, riverbank clean ups. environmental strategy development, and more.
