Profile:
Our group is in its 28th year and currently has 62 paid members. Our mission is the stewardship of the Arcola Watershed through service and education. Our goal is to preserve this unique estuary by protecting the watershed and to conserve habitat for the animals and endangered plant life that is to be found only in the estuary area. We work in cooperation with the Nature Conservancy which owns most of the acreage and with the Lake County Metroparks system which manages the area.
