This group was formed in 1995 by the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District. The MWCP is a community based-community driven organization. This partnership has two working committees named Storm water and Education. The MWCP conducted two major creek cleanups as part of the RiverSweep 2005 Day and will participate in the Burning River Festival in August of 2005. Currently, the MWCP has obtained a ODNR Coastal Management Assistance Grant to develop a comprehensive community assessment plan for the Mill Creek Watershed. Also, the MCWP has applied for a Section 319 grant to implement a restoration project on Mill Creek as it flows through the Highland Park Golf Course in Highland Hills, Ohio. The MCWP continues to advocate for a long term operation and maintenance plan for the Kerruish Park Storm water Management Facility in Warrenville Heights, Ohio, by all watershed communities.
