Connecting Ohio Watersheds 2003/WMAO Spring Meeting (June 3 & 4, 2003, Columbus, Ohio)

Conference Wrap-Up

In the Spring of 2003, the annual WMAO Spring Meeting and the Connecting Ohio's Watersheds Conference planning committees joined forces to offer an outstanding program. The conference themes were creating sustainable watershed groups and locally relevant watershed plans. The goal of the planning committee was to create an opportunity for the exchange of ideas on what makes a watershed plan meaningful at the local level.

Over 200 watershed professionals, volunteers, and students participated in the conference, representing Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and British Columbia.
